#Web / Browser games: Urban dead, pretty much what it sounds like, a mmo web-based zombie apocalypse game, and a pretty entertaining one at that. The 50 action points you get run out pretty quick, even when you have 3 characters, all in all I spend what, 15 minutes a day on it? On to my charming trio: Robban, started out as a (military) medic, but since I was rather careless I quickly became zombie lunch. Not to worry though, I never really liked him and he’s far more charming as a zombie ;) Tomeo, my paranoid (civilian) cop, with a shotgun fetish, I think he’s carrying around 5 or 6 boomsticks, even though I know it’s a bad idea I keep barricading myself in police stations to scrounge up more shotgun shells. Moriz, and last but not least, my (corpse), soon he’ll have gained a level and I’m definitely getting the skill Memories of Life, so I can open secured doors, that’ll make it easier to find some prey ;)
#Games: Infinity, promising looking space / exploration mmo in early development (and by early I mean it, there might be a non playable tech demo released some time during 2006 but it’s not guaranteed yet).
Mount & Blade, still in development but you can download the full game and play to level 6 or so (and pay a fee to unlock the entire game, they release new versions every few weeks from what I can tell.) Rather fun actually, mounted combat works pretty well once you get used to it.
The Qr-Quan Masters, not sure if I’ve already linked this page, it’s a port of the 3DO version of Star Control 2, available for Windows, MacOS X and Linux.
